Choices
We always have choices brewing deep down our brains
Collecting momentum or circling the wagon
Might be tiny as mouse or larger than dragon
Some hitting bumpy rides, others rolling freight trains
Whatever we decide, we live with dire straits
It could be sliding doors or the plates for dinner
The brand of the toothpaste or acts of the sinner
We live by our own rules through our own choices, fates
When we choose to go left, let's avoid seeing right
Stop the second guessing, let your heart lead the path
'Cause going back in time will reveal its own wrath
Be happy, don't worry, there's elements of fright
As long as we're alive and there is survival
Be genius in the thought, from the other rival

You really did capture the dilemma of making a choice. There is always a risk correspondent to the reward at stake.
The 'let your heart lead the path' was a nice way to avoid the cliche expression, ' follow your heart'. I personally disagree with this concept however. The prophet Jeremiah tells us that that heart is deceptive. Truly we see it all the time that we put our trust in another and s/he betrays us. Conversely, we may choose to distrust our lifeline. That's why we must put our trust in Christ. I'm not saying he will make your choices for you but he does provide wisdom and discernment to choose life and not death.
It's kinda long but I liked this so much that I decided to do a commentary on it.
Thanks for sharing Louis.
