Ode to a Capricorn
A straight and narrow path without much detours
Is the way you live your disciplined existence
For agriculture is growing as rain cautiously pours
Traditional knowledge of the powerful natural sense
Working to achieve; not taking anything lightly
Methodical labour with much respect to higher power
They would say: "Don't hold the leather reigns too tightly"
For releasing the strain will make bloom the flower
A loneliness amidst the ambitious class of pessimistics
A timid self, producing moments that are awkward
For the fear of indifference or of foolish antics
But like all cycles, they all advance slowly forward
So your hard work might mean a lack of fidelity
Your desire to succeed will bring you joy in ambiguity
