Paint night

Going to a paint night to attempt an artwork
Setting the canvas up, and getting the brushes
Waiting for instructions to flow creative rushes
Onto this blank image, smearing a background perk

Drawing the curved contours of a grassy hillside
To replicate picture that the artist has shown
The moonlight reflecting in the pond's murky zone
And the branches of tree, visual amplified

Not able to draw well, the canvas is filthy
Looking like amateur that started many times
The picture that glistens is a jailbreak's bad crimes

What remains is the smile, social side healthy
A picture for wall hole, that none will admire
Painted by the brick hands, artist to retire
