Delightfully blown away
My courage in the middle of nowhere
she came into my life like a grenade
I reeled back to familiar territory
and stepped on a land-mine
Blown away! We both were and then we weren't...just
a myriad of incandescent stardust undulating like waves
in a sea of oblivion...a sea that conquered the byzantine
walls I erected to safeguard...? (NOTHING, nada, zip, zero)
HA!...Hahahahaha! a maniac laughter in the face of concrete reality
I built a fortress to hedge in barren land. Poor pathetic soul was I until
she. She impregnated my defenses with that fatal explosion like firework
lighting up my starless night with her radiant glow brighter than any full moon
Truly in the beginning darkness was upon the face of the deep
my world was without form and void of...I could never tell what
but the object of my desire was not what but who and I did not
know until there was a big bang and light rushed in victoriously
the sea of oblivion surrendered a myriad of stardust to the sure hands
hydrogen bonds and van der waals forces coalesced microscopic light
varying sizes of atoms embraced each others disclosing intimate truths
in a language untainted by philology, politics, nor his story or her story
Our stories intertwined as twain become singular
and the script is rewritten as stories loses plurality:
My courage in the middle of nowhere
she came into my life like a grenade
I reeled back to familiar territory
and stepped on our lands

Thanks for the kind review Martin. I am aspiring to continue evolving as a poet...I wrote this with a thesaurus handy because I really wanted to paint a vivid picture.
