Passion
Passion
Slow, warmed to be inflamed
a steady progress of beauty to be attained
A bud, enwrapped in spring like green
an enticing glimpse of what will be seen
Growth accelerates as does beauty
an unfolding of such intensity
Then petals emerge, slightly divorced
a velvet sensuality is enforced
A bloom takes its unique shape
to create a glorious state
The perfect flower
with creative power, does truly tower
Passion seduced does earnestly grow
desire, longing filled with awe
as we gaze on what lies in store
A rose, a tulip reaches maturity
a moment of passion denied perpetuity
A time of such intense pleasure
taken in unashamed leisure
Soon the blossom´s beauty fades
and passion retreats into the shades
