A Dimensional World

 

For our health in body, mind and spirit

a three dimensional human entity

or could it be that we are are mistaken

that we exist only as creatures of body and mind?

Do I consist only of these two aspects of life?

Is my mortal frame and brain all there is?

If so I am as an animal with instincts and nought else

I eat, drink, walk and talk

I write, add, subtract with elementary thought

But from where does my inspiration and imagination come?

Not in body or mind do I find a source of wonder

 

For some do linger with no such consideration

Why am I enthralled by all creation

uplifted by orchestral sounds

captivated by the artist, sculptor and composer?

Why do I yearn for a myriad of sensations

which are other than I?

 

From downcast mood to sheer exhileration

is this solely the property of body and mind?

My individuality is my powerhouse

incomparable and unique

quite divorced from my physical appearance 

or any cerebal activity

 

I am three dimensional

a being created to love, to feel and to live

to embrace by more than instinct and appreciation

This is me, utterly unique and fully alive to the 

magnificence of who I really am
