entropy

“no net ensnares me”

My alma mater

Tears and laughs choke me

They grip my heart and block my path,

by this I mean, my trachea

Epinephrine and dopamine slow

Withered and dry

Why can't i die?

Entropy always near

Why do i fight?

why do i care?

It's inevitable, this life on earth

Milliseconds to the bang

But why does it feel like an afterlife

Forever this pain

Eternity, this wait

if this was mine I'd strip out the three question ? lines and perhaps even the 'forever the pain' line too. I think those four lines detract a great deal from what is a very good poem. Hope you don't mind me saying. Col.
