Seeing first time
In a faraway land, lived a beautiful girl
With tender loving words that that can cure sickness
For a meeting with her, is dream out of blackness
As I bring my daughter for vision clear as pearl
Born without any sight, she's never seen my face
She has learned to live free, and had learned through the tools
But in her seven years, no sunrise in her jewels
Words to explain beauty of this surprising place
Seeing was miracle as her face lite up wide
Staring at this bright world and appreciating
The wonders of it all after all these years waiting
Asking her what's the best, and her response with pride
"It was seeing your face, the look of shock on it
The expression priceless, the mascara had fit!"
