Baby

Made from love of two,
Stork delivery nearly due.
Inside something special grows,
Takes a while before it shows.
Tiny, magical, growing at first,
Later months it nearly bursts.
Wriggling butterflies flutter inside,
Not long ago a beautiful bride.
Tiny booties from clicking pins,
Little kicks bring tiny grins.
Peers inside all black and white,
Check on what's out of sight.
Growing belly like ripening fruit,
Soon will fill a romper suit.
Tiny little baby socks,
Wooden cradle softly rocks.
Softly singing lullaby,
Baby there's no need to cry.
Snuggled, swaddled held so near,
Dries up every diamond tear.
Little baby softly sleep,
Everyone's love already so deep.

Every little breeze seems to whisper Louise (an old song I know) ! This is wonderfully soft and cuddly and really gets close i'm sure to a maternal instinct !

Beautiful. I could imagine this on a card for a new baby, or to be given to an expectant mum, but it's too good for that. Was it written with someone special in mind?
Cheers Kevin
