‘This virus came from a devil’s brew,

But there’s a vaccine that’s new too,

Something  we made earlier ,just for you,

Costs don’t matter, it’s all in hand,

We’ve got a fool-proof payment plan,

We’ll divert money from your tax!

You don’t need cash , just make tracks,

Take the jab or you’ll get sicker,

Every cough a conscience- pricker,

On your feet, be a good box-ticker,

Skip on down to the walk-in centre

Join the queue, be a plague –preventer,

Just in time for that nine-saving stitch,

A dodgy squirt that makes someone rich!

Profits soar on the pandemic vector,

This sickness scare is a growth injector,

It’s not some natural selector,

I’m concerned so I have to hector!

Don’t let it go down to the wire,

Book your berth in the abbatoir,

Like some bank-bred pig from the corporate sty,

 Save your bacon , put this plan awry.

I won’t take a swab or bare my arm,                                 

This is no juice to cancel harm,

It’s all income for the genome farm,

The rush to sound the death alarm,

Brings winter dosh  to keep bankers warm,

So they won’t catch what we’ve all got,

The poverty germ, dole-house rot,

Recession won’t end any time soon,

Dosing us keeps them immune!

When they ask to prick your skin,

Cough, splutter, say with a grin,

“The inoculation we all need

Is against the virus of your greed!”
