A new open mic poetry night opens its doors at Birstall library in Batley on Wednesday 12 July. Organised by the Friends of Birstall Library, and supported by Write Out Loud, it will be compered by Write Out Loud founder Julian Jordon, pictured, MC of the celebrated Poetry Jam at Marsden jazz festival. Entry is £2, and it starts at 7pm. More details and Map
