Existence & Purpose
Existence & Purpose
So why are we here in this place
I am over awed by this experience
Creation is an abundant wealth
incorporating the reality of ourselves
the mystery of desires and dreams
For creation there must be a creator
whose genius is limitless in its
scope to be a part of every molecule
that forms all that is visible and invisible
The ability to control yet permit freedom
to enable beholders to determine
what is beauty and what is not
to engineer patterns of thought unique
and to produce inventiveness
To stimulate emotions to
motivate and to energise
Birth, life and death all of
which are catered for with nothing
lost or mislaid. To ensure
renewal, rebirth with the seeds of hope
No random act do we form a part of
but players with roles to live out
the drama of a divine purpose
We create time but not age
we control nothing in reality
but our lives do not pass by unnoticed
For the creator is omniscient inhabiting
all dimensions which he knows with an
infinite knowledge and wisdom beyond
our finite meanderings
We are not lost or abandoned
rather cherished as a craftsman
takes pride in what he has made and
for the purpose it will be used
We see the realm of this planet our home
in a universe,vast beyond comprehension
Other worlds, not planets but dimensions
from where the inexplicable comes
bears witness to a force beyond
our wildest imaginings or knowledge
Without shape or form, without gender or
name, race or ethnicity for these are his
creation and above which he is supreme

Keith,
I like the way the first two lines of this echo
the title.(the what and the why). You are right that
our humanity (fleshiness) is really `incorporated` in
all this, The bogglingly obvious thing is the huge and
overwhelming superiority of human mentality over the
rest of ceation. (As entertaining as Monkey-World is
we don`t expect a poem like this from them any time
soon)
The scientism of Evolution basically says that everything
`just `appened` (which is not getting us anywhere).
Ah!...but when we get to your `purpose` I wonder if the
perpetual outpouring of protest we see every night on the
news channels could tell us something about that?.
(I mean: what are they all moaning about?)
