Loose change
Am living it up, partying all night
Then coming on down I feel reality bite
Spent up the next morning a fool to
myself
Oh I should have stayed at home and
put food on the shelf
Headache’s, hung-over, the near future
looks bleak
With no hard cash I will struggle this
week
Living on loose change but I’ll get by
Pennies jangle in my pocket but
drowned out the sigh of
Loose change loose change
Coins scattered on the table
Loose change, loose change
Lump sums to dream about
Loose change, loose change
These coins in my pocket
Loose change, loose change
I constantly count
Because I live it up and party on the
town
I know it’s a cliché but my sorrows I
drowned
For the debts they build up and the bills I can’t pay
So I drink and I gamble all my problems away
I’m not unemployed but in a lowly paid job
While I'm not to proud too beg (temptations) I am to honest to rob
So I wait for the big win and the
numbers game I play
While I try to save my money
my account just dwindles away
And all I’ve got is
Loose change loose change
Coins scattered on the table
Loose change, loose change
Lump sums to dream about
Loose change, loose change
These coins in my pocket
Loose change, loose change
I constantly count
But the big wins around the corner
and you will all benefit
For in a few days from now peòple
I will be rolling it
I’m totality convinced this time
I’m positive, I’m sure
I’ll put my money where my mouth is
and you’ve guessed it
I’m broke once more
And all I’ve got is
Loose change loose change
Coins scattered on the table
Loose change, loose change
Lump sums to dream about
Loose change, loose change
These coins in my pocket
Loose change, loose change
I constantly count

Thanks for comment john ... yeah lots of influence by the "Mod Father " i suppose ... a town called malice etc.. but its a nod to the influnce of "The last poets" a quartet of American performnce poets from late 60's onwards .. and how they inspired me to speak about what i see and feel and to perform it...
