Finding

I never knew of her, until that rightful day
We crossed paths at meeting, she was stunning in dress
Maybe she noticed me, I thought being bless
To make an acquaintance of this charming cliché

Every so often, catching up with hellos
Crossing paths for glory, as the mind drifts away
Trying to remain cool while observing her sway
And getting the courage as my heart as bellows

As she declines invite, I want to run and hide
Feeling like disaster, to repress desire
For the mind had future, reset rectifier

Avoiding her routine, finding again my stride
Looking out at the pond, and seeing great asset
On the prowl once again for future silhouette
