The bartender
The sultry walk in bar to entice the clients
As the blonde bartender, with cleavage in full grace
Prepares for her night's shift, prepares her money space
Where her bending over means the tips of giants
At the end of her shift, with a handful of dough
Making her way back home, to pay babysitter
Thanking her for support while feeling torn, bitter
That she sang lullaby, and rocked the gentle Joe
It's been a hard few years, with the estranged father
Leaving her in the night, without a single word
Raising her child alone as her hard drink got stirred
At least she changed her ways, where the drugs don't bother
Straightening her passion into this child's great life
Hoping to capture heart, and be a loving wife
