Earth thoughts

I want the earth

To consider each footstep I take

A caring caress.

I want the earth

To feel each seed I plant

Is a loving if wilful child.

I want the earth

To know that each thought I make

Is healing our sick world.

I've enjoyed reading your poems, Eve, but this one will particularly stick in my memory. The choice of words and their rhythm match the sentiment, with which I wholeheartedly agree.
