Letter To April 2

With every passing breath
I think about me and you
If you were still alive
Would we be happy together

With every passing breath
I wish I could tell you to stay home that night
You took my innocence away
I pleaded with death to let me die on that night

With every passing breath
I see the light behind your eyes faded
The 28th is coming upon us
I'll have to be strong alone this time

With every passing breath
I wish we had a normal break up
There's no one else here
To hold me through the night

With every passing breath
I had to learn to live without you
You promised me that we would grow old together
I was 15 when I lost you

I wish you still had air in your lungs
With every passing breath
I wish I didn't make you go with your father
Because we never finished our conversation that night
