Homo...lezzie...fairy...queer -

Accuse, abuse and bruise the ear,

And feed on  fear.

 

Fragile girl and frightened boy

That hate and self-hate would destroy

Just seeking joy.

 

Younger soul and older friend

Fighting pressure to pretend

And not offend.

 

Human feeling, love and care

Seem to make it right to bear -

And not forswear.

 

Yet always so and still the case

That some will wear another face

To run the race.

 

But change - how strange - is surely near 

For homo..lezzie...fairy...queer

Let humanity cheer!
