Balance
Balance
He looked into the inside
Into his own mind, that is
He found a strange arrangement
A neural mixed-up lattice
He saw two children playing
Playing in his mind
Serious and Comic
That's all that he could find
The children that were playing
(The ones that he had found)
Were silent to all others
Silent, with no sound
But he could see them play
Could hear their playful sound
In his mixed-up lattice
Feet firmly on the ground
He felt like an observer
Looking at a screen
In a movie theatre
Playing thoughts, his scene
Although they did play happily
(Well nearly all the time)
He had to watch that one
Did not rhyme all the time
The moral of my poem's
No matter what you do
Make sure things stay in balance
For others, and for you
