A Moment in my Mind

A Moment in my Mind

A million moments captured
precious dewdrops of time.
Our child's first breath our parents last
A first kiss
A smile.
Preserved In our minds eye until that moment when we die,
but we were captured in another's eye and so we continue until they die.

I see that truth. I have a 15 month old grandson. My first grandchild. I see me, I see my son, I see so many family members when I look in his sweet eyes. Your poem
choked me up a bit but in a good way.

To add any more lines to this would be too much you have captured what you wanted to say very well within just few.

Nice one

This piece is like an hourglass. So much time/sand held within its fragile frame, and easily enjoyable. Nice one Taylor, you sure know how to put to page any length of poem and still have it come out sounding epic.?
