UK researchers have found out

That dogs chasing moggies up trees

Is a figment of our imagination

It's moggies that chase doggies up trees

 

They found that our dear little pusscats

Are far bigger bullies than dogs

They like to boss dogs, be boss cockies

While owners look on, all agog

 

How can little Princess be so nasty?

And lash out at Brian's dog Tyson

She's so sweet and gentle and cuddly

I wonder if it's all just a con

 

But no, these researchers are saying

While Tyson has descended from wolves

With loud barks and fearsome-like teeth

It's pusscats which lash, makes first dives

 

Now why do I say this is so?

'Cause scientists researched homes with both pets

More than half said their moggies did lash out

At doggies whenever they met

 

Now when Princess lashes out and starts hissing

Poor Tyson bares teeth (but can't win)

While Tina and Gina pull their hair out

And ask Don why he ever let Princess in?
