I have realized my wrongs and 

am now trying to right them. 

My head was foggy when I wrote that the future was female. 

It’s actually going to be a joint effort,

both male and female and 

everyone in between.

I have seen the universe from a different angle,

and I can see my mistakes better.

Some I still cannot solve,

I have no idea what to do and what I did.

But those are few and far between 

and they are unimportant for the moment.

I took a look in the mirror today 

and I told myself something.

 “I’m going to fix this.” I said,

 “make everything better than it was when I left it before. Yes, I know I can’t make it all heal, but I can mend the wounds as best I can.”

So I told my nightmares and demons to go pick on

someone else.

I’m no angel, 

I’m not a saint, 

I’m just your average extraordinary human. 

We all are. 

We all have unique talents 

and things that make you, you 

and me, me.

I failed to see that before,

judgy and rude. 

But now I see it.

And I’m making it better.
