Weather

Stormy weather, won't you take me away

Peeling off leather at the end of the day

A  living cliche of overworked and underpaid

This atrocity of being self made

When I first saw you, I knew you were fun

in stormy weather, you shone brighter than the sun

Should of known better, you would never be free

so I'll just leave it, find some new company

Another lonely day, getting in the way

sunny weather on the forefront brigade

Independent and hard to persuade

This distinction of being self made

When I first met you, I knew you were the one

In sunny weather, possibility proved undone

A song that was never sung

rhapsody on a bitten tongue

Let me be your balcony, with all the lights strewn across the city sea

the beat to carry your melody

to always be is my decree

Just can't seem to shake you, don't be the one to break me
