How many dark places
have I been
Has there been too many
Did I die?
My heart feels so heavy

The tears choke me

God I hope not
I want to accept
the new life
ahead of me
I want to embrace it

Walking into the light
can be blinding
Your eyes need to adjust
will I adjust?
God...
