The sad end

The sad end

Wednesday,8th November 2018

You were mistaken

it wasn't taken rightly

I dreamed about a happy journey

but you had a doubt in mind already

love moves like wheels

if it has a steel will

that kills any doubt arising

and never causes surprise

I thought I would be the person

who may have a beautiful vision

about the life and its mission

sans any kind of confusion

I was shattered

when you uttered

about the separation

I was mentally shaken and bodily broken

to whom was I to address?

and face

the consequences in real

today I sit in the corner and feel

I blame no one

but no good was done

the cruel fate played the game

I was not in the position to tame

Neither could I recover

not could offer

you the reconciliation

it was the sad end of our relation

Good poem. I especially liked the “I thought I would be the person...” stanza.
