The Garden of Awen in Bath
The Garden of Awen is an evening of performance poetry, storytelling, music, and other Arcadian delights, which takes place on the first Sunday of each month at the Chapel Arts Centre in Bath.
February’s evening on Sunday, 7that 7.30pm, is entitled The Thorny Rose and explores the theme of love. The organisers promise a line-up to swoon over featuring musician Matt Sage from Oxford, international slam winning performance poet Rosemary Dun, theatrical story-tellers Widsith and Deor, Northumbrian wordsmith Wayland the Skald, local poet Kevan Manwaring, music from Saravian, and the new Bard of Bath – Jack Dean.
