Wounds
Time heals all wounds,or so it has been said. Some wounds take more than time to heal. Some wounds don't bleed, instead they ache from sadness and trauma. Some wounds are caused by despair not cuts. Some wounds just remain, not able to heal. Some wounds are caused by words or mental trauma not just actions. How does one heal a wound that doesn't bleed, that just festers and lingers? Sometimes it becomes easier to keep the wound hidden beneath the surface, even if only for a little while so we can forget it's there.

I think everyone has been in this situation, so the piece will be understood by all. Good capture of this melancholy feeling.
