Neurons Are Like People
Neurons Are Like People
At times my mind is like
A whirling swirling storm
Neurons doing what they want
(I know this 'aint the norm)
A mind that stays in norm-mode
Has neurons that obey
Directions from their master
And don't stray too far 'way
But neurons are like people
They want to do their thing
But if they're too directed
New things they cannot bring
Give them a little freedom
And let them go create
Without a leash around them
To stop them deviate

The mind moves in wondrous ways. But having read this again -
why not "creating" and "deviating" in the final verse? Just a picky-picky grammarian feeling tense, that's me. ?
