navel-dusters and gadgets

to clean the things we need no gadgets for,

unless we have the things and the gadgets

we need for the things that need cleaning

With the other gadgets.

 

Just in the same way that we need

Money to get the money we use to get

more money to get more money

to go more faster, ever and ever

fasterer and fasterer to spin dervishly

whirling out our worldigig

world is our world

maniac at the wheel,

foot on the floor, hand on the throttle.

Choking the weak,

worlding away into the dark,

the dark down between the stars, the dark empty,

 

With our final blaze, the one spark
