My Muse
You have come to visit me.
Welcome. I have missed you.
I often see you hiding behind the laundry,
patiently waiting until the neverending chores are done.
Then, when I finally sit down to talk,
you disappear like an unwritten dream,
leaving me speechless.
Today, for the moment,
you are here
and I have so much to say.
Won't you stay
and be my friend?
My Muse Replies:
"You must carry a notebook around with you at all times, or you can use your smart phone, whatever, but when you get a thought, when "the muse" visits you, write it down immediately. For grand words are like a mirage. You only get an imaginary glimpse of them, then when you chase them, poof, they are gone. Writing from the muse is a most frustrating affair. You should just write and ocassionally, if you are lucky, an ocean of words will come to you."
It is quite fascinating to see what
streams from your fingers to the screen
or from your pen to the paper.
For fleeting moments, I feel as though
some other being possesses me
and what they have to say
is the reason I am here.

At times it really happens while writing, you seem to b spell bound and words just flow from somewhere. I liked your poems so much...please keep writing!!?
