Fall for me Angel...
Tenderly like the paramour
from heaven; in love
the angel falls.

We all fall Mae. It's how we rise up that matters:
“Long is the way and hard, that out of Hell leads up to light.”
― John Milton, Paradise Lost

Thank you for taking the time to read my piece John! And I agree we do all fall and it is how we rise that matters indeed! But this piece was really just a little bit of word play!
The angel falls from heaven and unto Earth. He falls into humanity, not hell. Love makes one vulnerable and the angel becomes vulnerable as he falls. Love also means sacrifice and this angel sacrifices his spot in heaven not for power but for his lover. He falls not in hell but in love. Nothing to do with sins or anything biblical really nor with anything literal as in "falling down". Here "falling" is romanticized!
