To bee or not to be

bees cannot

help themselves

they are devoted

to their job

making honey

day after day

they go off

they come back home

exhausted

as we ourselves

are devoted to the

making of money

we use ourselves up

in the search for gold

day after day

year after year

the drone of life

we work like bees.
