As you please
Compose a verse that is worse than a boil
Compose a poem that'll show 'em in oils.
Compose a eulogy that reaches the stars
Compose a symphony an epithany of ours
Compose the day as an aspect of night
Compose your mood as a monochrome in plain sight
Fit your work to an existing pattern
Or learn to flatten out the peaks and troughs.
Confront the imposters' honour and worth
Nobody's born equal, life can be rough,
Filter the airways and believe what you will.
Simply believing can lighten the load
Be sceptical of those that promise much
Love those who are alone in crowds
And never fear death or disaster
But fill your days with poetry and laughter.

I love that your poem blends perfectly with the accompanying picture.
I am a great fan of monochrome having being brought in a monochrome world, when the only colour we had as a kid was at the cinema and some early bad colour photography.
A marvellous portrayal from the opening lines of repeated wording right through to the end.
Wonderful
