Journey
From the glowing white pleats of snow,
I bring the change from opaque to clear,
Initially slow, hesitant to flow,
I emerge in this world, so new, with streaks of fear
With gleamy eyes, I look down the horizon,
The path is infinitely long to tread,
Hesitancy, fear have got no reason,
All inhibitions there I shed.
Now I flow with confidence and grace,
With each moment, achieve my unique pace
Though, the path is long, but a magnificent terrain,
The landscape on both sides, an enviable panorama I see,
Tranquil and pleasant without any fleck of pain,
So keen in my flowing spree.
I kept praising the world around,
Forgot to look inside,
Enormous beauty I myself surround,
Like a poise of a newly wed bride.
My water so clear, shimmering slight like a pearl,
I am an abode to millions or near,
Thoughts like these make me chuckle.
Here., I enter a different sphere,
Similar looking creatures throwing waste at me,
My body pains, soul hurts, and there is darkness that all I see
I run fast as fast I can, I pass by,
To return to my original pristine,
Time will heal me and the span will purify,
And I’ll be again flawless and clean.
History repeats, same beauty I see,
For now I am aged and frail,
No longer a child can be seen in me,
I wait eagerly to end my trail.
There, I see water so much mightier than mine,
I flow towards it to get on the verge,
Our waters will meet and together furnish a shine
And slowly and steadily here I merge
