Longing to go out,  feel the sunshine,

To feel the warmth, striking every chord of happiness,

Feeling the breeze in hair removing the rust of past,

With the sounds around projecting a melody so sweet,

Getting infected with the smiles on faces,

This moment , I accept 

 

Anxious, confined within the walls,

Stepping out requiring a lifetime of courage,

Thousands of thoughts competing ,

to emerge victorious in causing the maximum fear,

Directing , controlling the mind

This moment, I accept

 

Care and love so enormous, 

Difficult to decide what all to take

Not even a second without a cushion of support

Not even a second without hands to hold

Every minute proves to be a gift to cherish

Wishing it to be an eternal journey

This moment , I accept

 

Lonely, fragile, wounded by the blows of time,

With a myriad of emotions but of a similar kind ,

Coming out in droplets only to pent up again,

Gives a momentary release,

Few minutes of ease,

This moment, I accept

 

Luxury , prosperity, lavish affluence,

Every demand fulfilled, dreams coming to life,

Tasting every flavor, wearing each attire,

No worry of future, destined to sparkle,

Relishing each moment , thanking god

This moment, I accept

 

Rumbling stomach , parched mouth

Open roof, empty plates,

Body barely covered, cursing the fate

Each second has uncertainity, impoverishment and despair,

This moment, I accept

 

I accept the good, the bad

I accept the joy , the sadness

I accept the calmness, the anxiety

I accept the support , the loneliness

I accept the richness, the poverty

For acceptance is the key to survive

And the  prevailing solution
