Thought there was nothing but then they all told me

You wastin your time, wastin your energy

Pursuing the dream planted deep within

By people who won't ever see

 

See how I excelled

See how I seized control

See how I repelled the mundane

 

Took charge of my soul

This power stemming from nowhere, I don't even know

The power to strive the hardest I can to reach my goals

 

Reflect with my peers

Reflecting a deep vision

Reflecting with them makes it clear

I more than have the ability

To articulate and execute my ambitions

 

I'm pleading you find the meaning and passion of your lives

Destroy misconceptions of who you are

And find out what's deep inside

 

You say one thing and do another

I won't lose any sleep, won't bother

Refuse to waste time with the ones still growing

Excuse after excuse, they can't stop me from glowing

 

So I remain around those who inspire me most

My peers who turn my fears to ghost

 

All of a sudden I'm pushing beyond

Hoping the world can catch up

Hopefully not before long
