Cutting a line into half

And half again

Leads to the curve of infinity
to that spike in the universal calculus
Caused by a single boy's once-upon-a-time enquiry
into the extraordinary to - ing and fro - ing of the elements of time and space.

This intricate lattice work of filigree and lace
Through which gleams spark into memories,
wrought of nothing more than figments of electricity. 

Along the geometric mean between

The size of an atom and the size of earth

Which, incomparably, is man, homo sapien?

Such fragments of time in space

Assume the passing majesties of blood and death and dream.

Yes! With dreamtime comes such singular jocularity

That passing quarks (worse for wear in their lonesome singularity)
Dreamlift their quiet dignity towards the passing beauty of a pretty face
And, thus, drift everlastingly into the future quiddity of  "art",

Yes indeed! A falling down and a world apart.
