The years roll by

wonder where they went

we want recall

but the years are spent

remember when

you could say what you meant

a time when everything

is upside down

became beige or brown

teachers can't teach

no more respect

genders are gone

all is in flex

so common in fact

videos and Phone

mean no contact

and people pass up

those in neglect

we close our eyes

and turn our backs

 

No history taught

our knowledge dense

sold our souls to phones

insanity since

our speech correct

but tempers too tense

oh return us to a time

when everything made sense.
