Outside Walmart

Outside ASDA -Walmart

I was outside Asda -Walmart,

Talking to a not-for-profit prophet

She talked tax evasion and Walmart,

She talked child labour and Walmart,

She talked Plastic packaging in tonnes - Walmart,

She talked high costs and low quality – Walmart.

I was outside Asda -Walmart, talking to a retail prophet,

She talked poverty wages Walmart,

She talked no unions allowed Walmart,

She talked Sexual harassment and Walmart,

She talked disability discrimination and Walmart.

I was outside Asda -Walmart, talking to a justice for all prophet,

She talked about the solution of a retail revolution,

She talked about consumer power measured by the shopping hour,

She talked about ordinary folk - doing extrodinary things

Flexing their financial might in an environmentally clean fight,

And using their pounds to prove a point.

She said the time had come,

For people to use their cash

To buy ethics, justice and morality,

Now I’m not outside Asda-Walmart,

 I’m walking to the Co-op,

And there I’m going to shop and shop,

Hoping at Asda-Walmart, the pennies will start to drop.

Eva N., there's some say that there is no such thing as 'bad' publicity.
Now you need to write an eulogy to The Coop, mentioning them at least as many times as you mentioned your ex supplier of life's essentials.
Good shopping
