Ray, you sound rather Dickensian in this. What does a lack of awareness of what's going on down there reveal about the character or mind-set of a person? That could be an essay title.

Marriage usually includes the emotional version of the north/south divide, the status quo of circumstance. I'm glad you got to this as it was really to see if I could still download audio clips!

Thanks John. One of those poems that started with a basic human problem and that ladies pick up on. Yes I camped it up a bit with the heavy accent!
