Our role in this world and how to perceive.

 

The same things that we love and hate.

Each day leading to the exact same fate.

The same food and drink that we love to taste,

And if you study this does not go to waste.

 

The same things we enjoy and things we regret.

The same things we remember and forget.

The same books we read - be it fact or fiction.

The same disgusts and the same addiction.

 

Whether we are cruel or we are caring

Whether we are cautious or we are daring

Whether we are young or we are old,

Whether we be timid or we be bold...
