Biography
My name is Stuart Vanner. I was born in January 1981 and I am from Carlton in Nottingham. I enjoy writing poems and describe them as Inside and Out poems. This is because the Inside ones are introspective poems about thoughts and feelings, while the Outside ones are worldly and could be about things or other people. I also play the piano and I am very keen on Beethoven.

Freedom, Appreciate that we are free That we fought for it throughout history. And know that it has been our obsession To stop all lives from cruel oppression. And we must try to break the chains and shackles For all of those who cannot fight their own battles. Yes the world needs an enormous shake For all people's rights to become awake. And so think and remember our situation And then celebrate will much jubilation.

I see from your profile that you play the piano. I am a beginner, presently without my teacher due to Covid. I play scales endlessly. Any suggestions? I like Beethoven but Rachmaninov is my favourite.
