The innocent cliffs

Angry oceans careering into cliffs,

waves furiously bombarding

white rocks off shore

with intense frustration,

assaulting each and every stone.

The main body of land

is receiving the brunt

of this mass of waters temper,

suffering

through no fault of its own.

This outburst of crashing swell

seemed completely irrational,

having no true logic or reasoning,

and the only form of provocation

was the slightest change in the wind.
