Paying The Bills
When all the seniors
have been taxed out of their homes
and all their savings used up
and the cost of living
is not worth the living
we will know that
what we worked and paid for
was not worth it
we came in with nothing
go out with nothing
as the Fed debt rises ever larger
going off the charts
and we nonchalantly pass it on
to our kids and grand-kids
who will have no home in the first place
each generation going backward
the Middle Class declining
without homes
with 1.5 children
we don't replace ourselves
and so the American Dream ends
not through invasion
but through debt
when government can't print fast enough
and the burden of trillions upon trillions
finally buries us
we go quietly
we rest our case
we do not rest in peace.

a useful tip I can offer you dk and anyone else with similar concerns is, and it does work, is, if your mums or dads are of poor health and own their own homes, homes they worked so hard for in most if not all cases, then if they are willing to go along with the idea get them to sign the house over to you and/or other members of the family.
In that way, the government can't get their hand's on it. But then, it does have to have been owned by the ' new ' owner for seven years before it can be sold if necessary when mum and dad have passed on.
It has worked for a neighbour of mine who is so pleased that the burden of worrying what will happen to it when she passes on is lifted off her shoulders.
This advice was instigated regarding dk's line " our kids and grandkids will have no home in the first place"
cheers dk.
ps-if it works for any of you guys-pass the info on!
