Autumn
As Autumn starts to come this way
It is time to reflect upon the day.
Do you see the leaves fall to the ground?
Softly, gently, without a sound?
Do you see the frost and mist and dew?
Do you hope the sky is still blue?
Do you feel the fresh, cool, crisp air?
And shall you find warmer clothes to wear?
Hibernation starts at these times,
As small creatures hope for better climes.
Then after that long and sleepy break
They shall in their time re-awake.
And with this time comes Halloween,
When one must observe what can be seen.
Do you see the witches, ghouls and ghosts?
And see who they frighten the most?
Do you see the pumpkins - fun, fat and jolly?
Do they join the party and all the folly?
Or are they carved with a wicked stare?
And lit with an intent to scare?
And then this time comes bonfire night,
Which is hot, huge and burning bright.
And it is time for fireworks too,
With exploding lights for all to view.
And as we see the nights draw in,
We prepare for winter to begin.
So whether you are a man, woman, girl or boy
Autumn is here for us to all enjoy.

Stuart,
A very well written and rhymed poem but I am afraid I cannot share your enjoyment about the arrival of autumn as I love Spring the most.
Thank you for this
