(This is an amphimacer poem. An amphimacer is a metrical foot of three syllables, the first and third stressed and the middle unstressed. Each line is an amphimacer. Poems of this type are not common as poets did not like them. I however do)

Broken Thing
Violence
Beat you down
Also took
Away your crown
Get away
From the storm
Start anew
Be re-born
Wake and breathe
Laugh and sing

We live and learn. Never heard that word before, in or out of poetry. But whatever word is used to describe "form", the content stands
on its own merit to convey its message. Nice one.
Its so poignant and touching.Take my respect.We all want the storm to be over.It will be a sunny morning. Let the broken things heal and sing the song of life.Thanks Don for sharing.
