I don't have a clue what's going on here
Just beam me up Scottie, I'm done
Now obviously Ruth I'm in pixieland
But being a poet, I can license
I'm doing just what I have been trained in
To high skill in rhyming nonsense ?
Brexit was a word we were conned into and beguiled,
A situation now as a nation we are disturbingly riled.
Voting for Brexit has been done at a cost,
Prices are going up jobs are being lost.
Maybe we should have voted for remain,
As Britain at the moment is going down the drain.
Boris in Manchester is talking today,
Trying to sort out the European affray.
There doesn't seem to be a solution on the horizon yet,
We'll still be talking about Brexit in the future I bet.
