Four of Swords – A restful place - A place of sanctuary, a place of peace
Four of Swords – A restful place - A place of sanctuary, a place of peace
Interpretation: This card show us that this is a place of peace and rest. For the seeker to hang up their swords and lay silent within themselves. This card also shows that the stoned woman laying at rest is a woman of great importance and of high statue. In her life she had been a warrior and a victorious one at that, for she is now being honoured in her time of restful peace. This card shows that whatever the seekers life may have been they will be victorious as they lay at rest honoured in their time of peace, now that the worst is over. And when they awaken again they will awaken into a beautiful new time of life and will smell the beautiful scent of the roses again.
This card indicates that you need to take some time out of your busy life to rest and recharge yourself. You need to step back from your daily routine and have a look at what is causing the stress. Try some meditation or relaxation techniques and try to speak to Universal Ether for some guidance and advice to find some perspective in any situation. Find some peacefulness and time out to relax, recharge and recuperate before you burn out.
Reversed: The reversed four of swords indicate that the time of rest is now over. It is now time to get back into the routines of life and being to take action of the situation. You have now had your rest and now it is time for the seeker to resume their rightful place in who they are. No more laying on the ground dying and wallowing in your sorrow. It is now time to take up your swords and being to fight the good fight once again. The warrior had been laid to rest. It is now time for them to awaken once again and be who they were meant to be.
