WETHERSPOON'S

entry picture

I’m in support of Wetherspoon’s and like their policy

Of refills of their coffee cups, unlimited and free;

I’ll order coffee at the counter, soon as I arrive

And gladly copper up the cost of just £1.25;

But then to my advantage I adapt a plan covert,

Cos when I’ve drained my coffee cup I give it to Our Gert

And she then gets the refill in the cup that I have had

But when she’s done will pass it on to Our Gert’s mam and dad;

To aunties and to uncles then, cos it’s good value when

£1.25 a cup will do a family of ten.

I find it’s paid me to be frugal with the hap’nies my grandad gave me, Brian.
And thanks for the “Like”, Lisa.

Nice one, Don. And there aren’t many things which aren’t better if they’re free, MC.

Coffee and tea
One each for we
How much better
If it were free
Then Thale and I
Would be happy (very...)

Reckon I'd succeed in the songwriting business MC ?

I drink cappuccino in a mug. Thale sips Earl grey in a china teacup. High-class lady my Muse.....

I'm reminded of a popular song (thanks - Irving Caesar) from the past which I adapt here.
Tea for two
And two for tea
How much better
If it's free!
Can't you see
How happy we would be? ?

We also enjoy drinking Britty Witty Humour John. Maybe your library has a section devoted to this? We could combine the library visit and Wetherspoons in one hit.....

Be sure to phone ahead to let me know you’re coming, Don. I think I’m changing my library book that day.

I must visit with Thalia when there. Do they do the same with Earl Grey tea? She only drinks from a china teacup. Should she bring her own?
