Stand And Be Counted
Wear your heart on your sleeve and and wear it proudly,
The fact that others may hurt you does not make you weak,
Tell the world of your hopes and your fears loudly,
Don't let anyone tell you of what you should speak,
It's your life and you have to own completely,
The good, the bad and the things you got wrong,
And don't think that telling hard truths will be easy,
But tell them you must, any less would be wrong,
Be aware that possessions have little value,
Unless they express the depth of your feelings,
And even then it's what they represent to you,
That gives their possession any true meaning,
Don't pursue wealth for the sake of it's riches,
But rather for what it allows you to do,
Use priviledge for its true purpose, which is,
To help those who are less blessed than you,
Stand and be counted and don't fear the consequence,
Because you'll still be counted nevertheless,
So you may as well stand and offer your penitence,
For the times that you could not offer your best,
Above all other things value experience,
Use its wisdom to map the course of your years,
Use its eyes and its ears, its measure of common sense,
And its strength to master your fears,
Above all things be truly honest with yourself,
Allow no self deception to cloud your eyes,
The road to the deepest circle of hell,
Begins when you believe your own lies.

So good Jason. As always. So many good lines......
I also like your style. Short lines with single thought to take in, one line after the other......
